Kyung-joo Kim (b. 1957, Korea) studied and graduated from the Graduate School of Art at Chosun University and has participated in many exhibitions including twelve solo exhibitions. He has been invited to five overseas exhibitions, namely Illegally Confiscated Prints Exhibition (Seoul, 1991), Anti-Gwangju Biennale (1995). He served as the director of the Dongshin University Museum, president of Gwangju National Artists Association and a board member of Korean National Artists Association. His books include Extraction of Beauty from Fractal (Simmian, 2008) and Curatorial Terminology Dictionary (Simmian, 2013). He is currently a board member of the Asia Community Culture Foundation, operating committee of the Citizen Culture Conference, and professor of the Department of Performance and Exhibition Planning at Dongshin University.
